One of my favorite restaurants has the best fried pickles.
I miss them.
Darn Covid.
So I tried to recreate them myself at home, only maybe a tad healthier, and I think they turned out pretty good!
My son got me an air fryer for Christmas and I have been so eager to try new recipes.
Air Fryer Fried Pickles
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Dill Pickle Chips
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Water
- 1/2 Cup Progresso Plain bread crumbs, or alternative crumbs like rice crumbs.
- 1 Tbsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Pat the pickle chips dry with a paper towel before you begin.
- In a bowl stir together everything but the pickle chips, water, and the egg.
- Whisk together the egg and water. Then dip the pickles into the egg before coating it in the dry ingredients.
- Make the pickles in batches, fill the air fryer basket only with a single layer at a time.
- Cook the fried pickles for 5 minutes per side at 400 Degrees F or until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve with Ranch dressing or any other sauce of your choice.
I hope you try these and like them as much as we do! Pin the image above so you can come back to this recipe easily.
xoxo, Melaine
