Adding in touches of fall in your kitchen doesn't have to be time consuming or challenging.
It can be as simple as adding in warmer tones with woods, rustic branches or foliage, deep dark colors, or touches of nature.
If I am changing things out seasonally in a specific room, the first thing I like to do is clear all the surfaces and give everything a good scrub.
There's nothing more refreshing than starting with a clean slate.
Warm woods, black, white, and grey tones are my main color palette year round.
I do like to add in orange for fall, but not until a bit later in the season.
I like holiday decor to blend in and not jump out at you. Try tone on tone decor.
Take this pumpkin for example from my friend Margie at House Of Margo.
It blends right into the background but still is so beautiful to look at.
I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg to my lattes, so I found these salt and pepper shakers that work perfectly. I added labels on with my favorite old school label maker.
I made this simple fall arrangement out of moss and a HomeGoods bowl. Tutorial coming soon.
Sometimes all that is needed to get that fall feel is a little greenery with fall tones.
In love with my Smeg toaster. Best purchase ever! It's on sale right now too!
The view out the kitchen window shows the first signs of fall around our house.
Clock can be found here.
Add framed family photos to personalize your space.
Look for interesting old wood crates at salvage shops or antique shops.
This new set up by my sink has to be my new favorite thing.
Everything is inexpensive and I just love the way it looks.
You can find the soap dispensers here, the tray here, the soap dish here, and the pumice stone here.
